Terms and Conditions:
The terms: “PAJ”, “we” and “our” refer to Private Access Journeys, a product of the Idyll Corporation. All trips offered are offered subject to PAJ’s standard terms and conditions as outlined below. These terms and conditions are separate from those of Idyll.
After an in depth interview between the traveler (or their travel agent) and one of our consultants, we will prepare a proposal based on information gleaned from that interview.
If the proposal is accepted, a deposit of 50% of the trip’s costs will be due within 7 days of the acceptance of the proposal. Final payment will be due 75 days in advance of travel. Full payment due immediately if booked less than 75 days in advance
If you must cancel your trip, the following fees will apply:
- If you cancel 70 days or more before your scheduled date of departure, you will forfeit 50% of the cost of your trip
- If you cancel 70-30 days prior to your scheduled date of departure, you will forfeit 75 % of the cost of your trip.
- If you cancel less than 30 days prior to your scheduled date of departure, you will forfeit the entire cost of your trip.
- If you cancel your entire trip more than 90 days in advance of your trip, your deposit can be applied to a future trip departing within 24 months of the original cancellation date. This credit can not be extended beyond 24 months, but may be transferred to another trip only once. Any difference in cost between the cancelled trip and the new trip will be the responsibility of the traveler. If the new trip is less expensive than the original trip, the difference will be refunded to the traveler, less a $500 change fee.
All of our packages are custom designed with the individual traveler in mind. In some cases, depending on the time of year and the suppliers used, payment and cancellation terms may be somewhat more lenient than those listed above. We will let you know if this is the case.
The purchase of travel insurance (including but not limited to; trip cancellation insurance) is strongly recommended. We offer policies from Travel Insured. We will provide you with information regarding their coverage. The price of the travel insurance will be described in your proposal and considered to be part of the price of the overall trip. If you choose not to purchase travel insurance, you will be asked to sign a waiver to that says that you have been offered the insurance but you are declining it.
No physical disability
By paying a deposit, you are certifying that you do not have any physical condition or disability that would create a hazard for you to participate in the trip that we are arranging for you.
PASSPORTS AND VISAS
A valid passport is required for U.S. citizens traveling on our international trips. You will be notified if your destination requires a visa for U.S. citizens. All passports must contain at least five blank pages and must be valid for six months after the completion of your trip. Non-U.S. citizens should contact the appropriate consular office for entry requirements pertaining to their trip, as we are not responsible for providing you with this information or documentation. It is the passenger’s sole responsibility to obtain and have available when necessary the appropriate valid travel documents.
Idyll acts only as agent and advisor for participants and can assume no liability for injury, damage or loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of defect or through the acts or defaults of any company or person engaged in carrying out the arrangements of its program. Services, including but not limited to carriage by air, land or lakes, accommodations, travel programs, hobby programs and courses are furnished by contractors independent of Untours. Payment of deposit and final balance on the cost of travel arrangements described on this website or any other material of any sort mentioning this website or its content signifies the acceptance on the part of the purchaser of the limitation of the responsibility described herein.
Contracts for and availability of accommodations may occasionally be changed or withdrawn for reasons beyond Idyll’s control or redress, requiring relocation to equivalent facilities. All pricing is subject to change. Idyll reserves the right to correct pricing errors at any time. California law requires certain sellers of travel to have a trust account or bond.
